How close can you shoot cashmere clothing? We recently had the chance to create a series of short, vertical social media videos for the luxury men’s clothing brand, Peter Millar. Our goal was to intimately capture the exceptional beauty and texture of their signature cashmere collection. They supplied us with an array of their exquisite men’s sweaters, vests, and jackets for the shoot, allowing us to showcase just how close one can get to the quality of cashmere.

The Peter Millar Cashmere Series

Our debut into exclusively vertical productions was marked by the social media video series we created for Peter Millar.

  • Project Scope: We focused on capturing the intricate details of the cashmere fabric’s texture, highlighting its inherent beauty and complexity.
  • Full Circle’s Role: Jason Cayabyab served as the Video Producer, Director, Videographer, and Post-Production Editor for these product marketing shoots.
  • Key Learnings: Capturing a clean image of clothing using macro videography presented a significant challenge. To properly expose the cashmere texture, we focused on experimenting with different lighting angles and adjusting the intensity of the light.

This project was a resounding success, demonstrating our strong capability to elevate product videography through creative and intricate execution. We effectively told stories in a short timeframe, skillfully captured the various textures of the fabric, and presented a design theme that perfectly aligned with the company’s brand.
